AMACO V-388 Radiant Red underglaze is a bright scarlet color that is vivid at 1050°C, deepens at 1200°C, and becomes a slightly glossy, deep fire-engine red at 1300°C. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
