AMACO Cosmos

AMACO Cosmos is a series of crystalline glazes intended for firing in the range of 1200-1240°C. During firing, crystals form on the surface of Cosmos glazes, giving your ceramic works a cosmic glow. To increase the crystal size, slow cooling can be added to the firing schedule, but this is not necessary to obtain satisfactory results. AMACO Cosmos glazes are food safe, however their surface is delicate and can easily scratch when used on dinnerware.
