Mayco Raku

Mayco Raku glazes have been specially developed for raku firing to produce beautiful metallic lusters and crackle patterns. They are intended for firing at ca. 1000-1040°C and reduction i.e. in sawdust, straw or dry leaves. The final appearance of the glazes is influenced by both the reduction time and the materials used, which means that a full control over the effects is not possible.
