AMACO V-382 Red underglaze is a vivd crimson at 1050°C, deepens to a dark wine red at 1200°C, and turns brownish as it begins to burn out at 1300°C. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
