AMACO V-383 Light Red underglaze is a light coral red that is bright at 1050°C, softens slightly at 1200°C, and becomes darker and slightly glossy at 1300°C. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
