AMACO V-389 Flame Orange underglaze is a carrot color that is a bright red-orange at 1050°C, darkens at 1200°C, and becomes a deep persimmon color at 1300°C. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
