Mayco SW-172 Macadamia high-fire glaze creates a satin, creamy-beige surface. In reduction firing, as the temperature increases, the color of the glaze darkens and gray and navy blue discolorations appear. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
