Mayco SW-147 MOONSCAPE stoneware glaze

Mayco SW-147 Moonscape glaze has been created on the base of SW-137 Storm Grey with addition of dark green and black crystals. As the firing temperature increases, the grey color of the glaze becomes lighter. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
