Mayco SW-230 Pink Speck i is a satin-matte, semi-opaque light purple stable glaze that breaks over texture. Contains small purple, orange and yellow specks. As the temperature increases during reduction firing, pink Speck lightens.

Mayco SW-231 Lilac Speck i is a satin-matte, semi-opaque light purple stable glaze that breaks over texture. Contains small purple, orange and yellow specks. As the temperature increases during reduction firing, lightens to off-white. Specks blur and lose definition with increased application thickness. Crystallization may develop. Remains stable.
The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
