The EZScreenPrint 123GO stencil set is a smart solution, developed in collaboration with ceramic artist Kathy Skaggs, that makes it easy to create quick and effective screen-printed decoration on leather-hard clay or bisque ware, regardless of experience level.

The set includes three designs: 1 - background, 2 - middle layer and 3 - main motif. Together - 123GO - they are applied in layers, in the right order, to create a cohesive and visually appealing composition. Use the designs in the suggested sequence or let your imagination guide your own compositional choices - there are no wrong choices.

The first and largest design creates a background of hand-drawn sunbursts, the second adds a sunflower as the middle layer, and the third is the main motif featuring bees with sunflower centers.

How to Use EZScreenPrint Silk Screen Stencils

• Prepare the surface: wait until the clay reaches the leather-hard stage, and thoroughly remove dust from bisque ware.
• Place the background stencil in the desired position and hold it still along the edges.
• Apply a small amount of underglaze or ceramic printing ink.
• For application on curved surfaces, use gel printing plates or print the design onto rice paper and transfer it using the decal method.
• Apply the color with a squeegee, sponge, roller or fingertip - using an even, confident motion and enough pressure to push the color through the stencil mesh.
• Gently lift the stencil without sliding it across the surface to keep the printed design clean and crisp.
• Before applying the next layer, wait until the previous one is dry.
• Place the middle-layer stencil and apply the design.
• Finish by applying the main motif.
• Immediately after use, rinse the stencils thoroughly with water and allow them to dry before reuse.
