Speedball Drawing Fluid

Speedball Drawing Fluid (237 ml) is a masking fluid for screen printing. It allows you to block out areas on the screen that are intended to form the printed design. It should be used in combination with the Speedball Screen Filler. Speedball Drawing Fluid can be applied to the screen with a brush to create hand-drawn images. Place the screen in a horizontal, elevated position and apply Drawing Fluid directly onto it. Allow the painted areas to dry. The areas you paint will be the ones through which the ink will pass. On the same side where Drawing Fluid has been applied, apply Speedball Screen Filler. Use a squeegee to apply it evenly with one pass and allow it to dry. After drying, wash out the Drawing Fluid with cold water, gently scrubbing, and clean any blocked areas with a small stiff brush or a comb. The screen must then dry in a horizontal position. Once dry, it is ready to use. After proper cleaning and storage as recommended, screens created with Drawing Fluid + Screen Filler or Photo Emulsion can be used to produce hundreds of prints!
