Mayco Clay Mender has been designed for repairing cracks and bonding ceramic pieces, both raw clay and bisque-fired. To join two pieces of clay with Mayco Clay Mender, scratch the joints and apply a thick layer of the product. The pieces should be brought together quickly and pressed firmly for 10–20 seconds until a bond is formed. The work should be allowed to dry. Once dry, the joint can be sanded and smoothed to prepare it for decoration with engobes, underglazes, or glazes.
