UG-87 REGAL PURPLE underglaze

Mayco UG-87 Regal Purple underglaze gives a purple color when fired at low temperatures, which only slightly changes as the firing temperature increases. With reduction firing it fades away. To obtain full coverage, apply 2-3 layers of the underglaze. For watercolor effect dilute the underglaze with water. The use of transparent, matte or glossy glaze will intensify the color. The firing temperature of Mayco Fundamentals underglazes ranges from 1000°C to 1300°C, however, the colors may change as the firing temperature increases.
