A clear glaze accentuates the underglaze at 1050°C but burns out some color at 1200°C and 1300°C. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
