AMACO V-361 Jet Black underglaze is a cool black color, smooth and velvety at 1050°C, darkens at 1200°C, and becomes darkest black and slightly glossy at 1300°C. A clear glaze deepens and accentuates the underglaze significantly at any temperature.

A clear glaze deepens and accentuates the underglaze significantly at any temperature. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
