When fired at a low temperatures, AMACO V-330 Indigo underglaze paint gives a purple-blue color. The underglaze loses its purple hue as the firing temperature increases and becomes intensely blue. Stir or shake well before use. To obtain full coverage, apply 2-3 layers of the underglaze, and to intensify the color use a transparent, matte or glossy glaze, adjusted to the final firing temperature. The temperature range of AMACO Velvet Underglazes is from 1000°C to 1300°C, but the color may change as the firing temperature increases.
