AMACO V-322 Purple underglaze is a soft violet color at 1050°C and becomes increasingly bluish and lighter at 1200°C and at 1300°C. A clear glaze over Purple will accentuate the color at 1050°C and 1200°C, and cause more blue tones at 1300°C.

To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
