AMACO V-309 Deep Yellow underglaze is a rich ochre color at 1050°C and more intense under a clear glaze. At 1200°C, it is less saturated. At 1300°C, it is darker and more muted. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
