Speedball 2101 Blackened Copper stoneware glaze

Speeball Blackened Copper is a glossy metallic glaze that gives a deep copper color with rich black undertones. When fired to ca. 1200-1220°C, Blackened Copper is satin and black when applied thinly. When fired to 1220-1240°C, it becomes glossy and develops copper metallic reflections. For the best results, apply 2-3 thick coats with a fan brush. Additional coats can achieve brighter, shiny copper reflections more easily.
