Mayco SW-515 Aqua Gloss is a highly-pigmented, gloss glaze. The highly stable qualities of this glaze make it ideal for design work and full opaque coverage at mid-range temperatures. Color shifts to baby blue and remains stable as the reduction firing temperature increases. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
