Mayco SW-507 Bright Green Gloss glaze produces an intense, light green color when fired at 1240°C. As the temperature increases in the reduction firing, the color of the glaze fades towards pastel green. Glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in a temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
