Mayco SW-224 Tropical Teal is a glossy, semi-opaque teal glaze with a mottled float that breaks over texture. This glaze is stable. As the reduction firing temperature increases the color enhances green undertone and remains stable. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
