Mayco SW-223 Milk Glass Stoneware Glaze

Mayco SW-223 Milk Glass is a glossy, semi-opaque white glaze that breaks transparent over texture. This glaze is stable. Color shifts to blue with white float and remains stable as the reduction firing temperature increases. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
