Mayco SW-192 Amarylis produces a glossy, semi-transparent pink-orange color with brow and yellow crystals on the glaze surface. As the reduction firing temperature increases, the orange color fades and pink becomes the dominant shade. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
