AMACO CR-18 is a glossy blush glaze with black specks designed for layering that when fired, crawls into organic shapes, adding color variation to the underlying glaze. The result is a unique, multidimensional effect with subtle depth. You can use AMACO Crawls alone or layered over AMACO Celadons, underglazes, or other stoneware glazes to achieve dynamic visual effects. Apply 1–4 coats for different textures—from fine beading to bold, cracked surfaces. Each firing yields unique, spontaneous results, making every piece a true original. When layered over glazes from the AMACO Celadon series, Crawls are food safe.
