Mayco Stroke & Coat SC-97 Cant-Elope glaze gives an intense warm orange color at low-fire temperatures. Higher firing makes it lighter and less intense.

Cant-Elope is a dense, highly pigmented glaze from the Stroke & Coat series. At low-fire temperatures, it gives an intense warm orange color. At higher firing temperatures, it becomes lighter and less intense. The glaze works well where visible brush strokes, fine details and varied coverage are desired. One coat creates a translucent effect, while two to three coats gradually build opacity and an even, glossy surface without the need for a clear glaze.

Mayco Stroke & Coat glazes are stable, glossy and highly pigmented decorative glazes. When applied in two to three coats, they give vivid, opaque colors. They can be applied to wet clay, low-fire bisque or stoneware bisque and fired across a broad temperature range in oxidation or reduction. Use them for fine details, brush strokes, majolica-style decoration and full surface coverage. To achieve a watercolor-like effect with visible brush marks, thin the glaze with water. The final result depends on the clay body, application thickness, firing process and temperature.
