Mayco SC-48 Camel Back ceramic glaze when fired at low temperature gives an intense, warm, dark brown color, which becomes brighter towards orange as the firing temperature increases. Glazes from the Mayco Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. To obtain a watercolor effect (visible brush strokes), dilute the glaze with water. The Stroke & Coat glazes can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
