The Mayco SC-28 Blue Sky glaze gives a turquoise color when fired at low temperatures, becoming translucent and slightly pale as the firing temperature increases. Glazes from the Mayco Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. To obtain a watercolor effect (visible brush strokes), dilute the glaze with water. The Stroke & Coat glazes can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
