Mayco SC-15 Tuxedo glaze, when fired at low temperature, gives a deep black color, which slightly loses intensity as the firing temperature increases. Glazes from the Mayco Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. To obtain a watercolor effect (visible brush strokes), dilute the glaze with water. The Stroke & Coat glazes can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
