Mayco SW-305 Cobalt Wash

Mayco SW-305 Cobalt Wash gives an intense deep blue color with a glossy finish. In combination with a stable transparent glaze, it can be successfully used for stamping and silkscreen printing. Layerd over ceramic glaze, Cobalt Wash will add blue effects and increase the glaze's mobility. The degree of the glaze mobility will depend on its properties (the effect for "floating" glazes will be multiplied, while stable enamels will move only slightly) and on how many layers of each product have been applied.

Mayco Washes are a highly concentrated metallic glaze colorants, which are formulated for ease of use and versatility. Based on metal oxides, they are primarily used for silkscreen printing and rubbing into the surface of the ceramic body to accentuate the texture. They can also be used in combination with any glaze in the temperature range of 1000-1300°C.
