Mason Stains® 6406 Buttercup Yellow

Mason Color 6406 Buttercup Yellow ceramic stain allows to obtain a warm, yellow shade. Mason Stains can be used as an addition to glazes, as underglazes or for coloring ceramic bodies. For strong, vivid colors, the stain content should be approx. 8-10%. The final color will depend on the ceramic body used, glaze and firing curve. When applied with clear glaze, we recommend using zinc-free glaze, e.g. AMACO HF-9 Zinc-Free Clear or Mayco SW-4 Zinc-Free Clear.
