The Fairy-tale Land modelling kit is a creative set for making a pastel, magical world from self-hardening Silk Clay. Together with your child, you can model small fairy houses, flowers, mushrooms, snails, butterflies and woodland friends, then arrange them on the green glitter EVA foam, which creates a fairy-tale forest base.

The kit includes the materials needed to get started, a simple modelling tool, a silicone mould for making flowers, beads, glitter EVA foam and polystyrene shapes that help build three-dimensional elements. It is a kit for calm, creative play between children and adults, as well as for learning modelling, joining elements, mixing colours and creating your own imaginative decorations.

Silk Clay - Modelling Clay

Silk Clay is a soft, lightweight and flexible modelling clay that self-hardens as it dries at room temperature. It is pleasant to work with, easy to shape, roll and join, and does not make as much mess as traditional modelling materials. The colours can be mixed together to create your own shades and more fairy-tale compositions. It is best to store the clay in an airtight container so that it stays flexible for longer. If your Silk Clay becomes hard, try restoring its elasticity by adding a little water and working it in your hands.

The kit contains: four tubs of Silk Clay in 7 colours, three types of polystyrene shapes for building figures and forms: three oval discs, two shapes resembling a chess pawn and two eggs, a silicone mould for making small flowers, three modelling tools: a double-ended tool with a smaller and larger ball tip, a spatula and a small roller for forming slabs, 16 beads, 6 screws for the figures’ eyes and decorations, 1 floral wire for plant stems, figure elements or other fairy-tale constructions, glitter EVA foam 18 x 28.5 cm, which forms the base of the fairy-tale land, and a QR code leading to a guide with techniques and inspiration.
