The AMACO High-Fire glazes are characterized by stability and extraordinary intensity of colors. They are based on oxides and therefore they can be used in both oxidation and reduction firings, e.g. wood, soda. Most of the colors can withstand a firing temperature of 1300℃. For best results, glazes should be applied with a brush on a bisque fired at a temperature of approx. 1050℃.
