When fired at a low temperatures, Mayco EL-153 Caribbean Blue glaze creates a shiny, translucent, turquoise surface. As the firing temperature increases, the glaze becomes more transparent and the color changes towards green. Mayco Elements glazes should be applied in layers with a brush. For best results, apply 3-4 layers of the glaze.
