Mayco EL-121 Copper Adventurine glaze when fired at low-range temperatures creates a shiny, metallic, dark brown, copper surface. As the firing temperature increases, the color changes to brocade-black with brown discoloration. Mayco Elements glazes should be applied in layers with a brush; for best results apply 3-4 layers.
