SW-196 SAND DOLLAR stoneware glaze

Mayco SW-196 Sand Dollar glaze produces a satin, cream color with white and gold spots. As the reduction firing temperature increases, the color becomes violet and glossy. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
