SW-195 RIPTIDE stoneware glaze

Mayco SW-195 Riptide glaze produces an opaque, satin blue-green color. As the reduction firing temperature increases, the color becomes greyish. This glaze is not food-safe. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
