SW-190 PASSION FLOWER stoneware glaze

Mayco SW-190 Passion Flower gives a dark, purple color with yellow, green and blue crystals on the glaze surface. As the reduction firing temperature increases, the color becomes bluer and semi-transparent. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
