Mayco SW-148 Lime Shower glaze gives a light green color with dark green crystals on the glaze surface, which create interesting spots. As the firing temperature increases, the crystals become light grey and the color of the glaze fades. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
