Mayco SW-115 Midnight Rain glaze, when fired at 1240°C, gives a deep blue color mixing with green, as the temperature of reduction firing increases, the base color darkens and the blue accents change towards green. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
