Fired at a temperature of approx. 1200°C, the Spectrum 1400 Shino glazes create a multi-colored, satin-matte finish, reminiscent of traditional Japanese glazes. At higher temperatures, the glazes become shiny and the multi-colored effect they create is enhanced. For best results, apply 2-3 layers of glaze with a brush. All glazes in this series are lead-free and dinnerware safe.
