Mayco Stroke & Coat are one of the most versatile ceramic glazes available on the market. They can be applied on leather-hard clay, bisque or stoneware fired clay, and their firing temperature ranges from 1000°C to 1300°C degrees!

Stroke & Coat glazes used on leather hard clay can be fired directly to 1050°C, omitting the bisque firing. It is recommended to leave unglazed elements (e.g. at the bottom or back of the ceramic work) so that gases can escape freely from the clay during firing.
